Jennifer Rochon, LCSW, RPT-S

Founder, Clinical Supervisor, Business Mentor and Mental Health Advocate

Waiting lists for mental health services are of great concern to me. When someone is experiencing mental health symptoms, it can be very concerning and disruptive to multiple areas of their life. When they find to courage to reach out for help, only to learn that the providers who accept their insurance have a several month waiting list, it can be a very defeating situation. This is particularly true for those individuals who have a Medicaid plan as their health insurance.

I am both a therapist and a dreamer who is full of compassion and a love of teaching. I also possess administrative skills and an interest in social welfare policy. All of these traits have found their home in the work I have done in the more recent times since 2014.

My passion is to increase access to mental health services for individuals with Medicaid insurance plans. I have built mental health businesses and have supervised and launched numerous providers to work toward this purpose. Drawing upon my 21 years of experience in the social work field, I actively teach, mentor, supervise and guide a team of therapists toward providing the most compassionate and quality mental health care possible.

My time is most enjoyably spent working toward the mission of Thriving Sparrow.
