As we take on the challenges of our daily lives in an ever changing world, we're constantly met with roadblocks and obstacles that we cannot always overcome on our own. I am humbled by the opportunity to be a resource to people of all backgrounds to find new solutions and pave new ways forward. For this reason, I have found myself called to the role of being a therapist.

One of my passions in life has always been caring for today's youth to grow a stronger generation to come. As a mother of two young girls, I feel that it is a pivotal role to lay strong foundations of guidance and support to young minds. Likewise, I take just as much joy exchanging ideas with my peers and generations before me to stay inspired and hungry to gain more perspective.

From these passions I have highlighted, that is why I achieved my Bachelor's in Social Work from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. From my studies, I have taken on diverse roles with young people. One of those roles include direct care staff in a residential treatment center for teenage girls. In addition I have taught high school students emotional confidence and financial responsibility through a psychology program at Illinois State University. Finally, aiding youth on parole and probation by providing mental health services, establishing attainable objectives, and creating opportunities to break cycles of generational trauma that traditionally leads to habitual offending.

I am a loving mother to two beautiful girls and two handsome kitty cats who enjoys rooting for the Illini and spending quality time with my large family.
