The roadmap to being a therapist is not always linear. Your healing and growth doesn’t have to be either. With a non-traditional and diverse background, I can offer you a variety of experiences while on your therapy journey. From working with incarcerated adults, to emergency and rehabilitative medicine, my knowledge spans throughout several therapy styles. However, I have spent much of my career learning, understanding, and contributing to the inter-workings of the child welfare and foster care system in Illinois.

I obtained my Bachelors Degree in Social Work from MacMurray College, followed by my Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana.

I have been a Licensed Social Worker in the state of IL since 2021. Throughout my time in the field of social work, I have enjoyed working with those going through life’s transitions. I have also spent a good amount of time working through anxiety and depression myself and am hopeful to share the growth I have experienced with you.

In my personal life, I am a mom and wife with a love for crochet and animals. I spend my free time attending craft shows to showcase my crocheted goods as well as dog shows to compete in conformation with my Great Danes. My other pets include a miniature Australian Sheppard, chickens, and ducks. I also enjoy reading and consider myself a life-long learner.
